‘Stairs 2U' current premises are in Bristol utilising a 10,000 square foot workshop and a ¾ of an acre store yard in which to supply our clients nationally. We have specialised in Joinery now for many years and in 2003 we invested in state of the art machinery in the form of CNC (computerised numerical cutting) technology. This specialist multi axis machine has a machining accuracy to 0.01mm, increasing production without effecting reliability, consistency and accuracy. The 4.5m long bed is large enough to cope with the most complicated of stairs giving us enormous flexibility in manufacturing. All of our staircases are produced using this machine.
We are proud of our staff retention allowing us to train and develop to a very high standard all of our staff from our apprentices to directors. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, high standards and attention to detail. We have worked with and advise both Architects and Designers on the structural feasibility of individual projects. We are used to working with and adapting to the needs of both major blue chip companies and the smaller sole trader. It is in our own interest to ensure that each client is fully satisfied with the finished project and that shows because all of our clients are continual clients.
